About the project
A new bus interchange has been created, in Lower Albert Street, to function as a destination or starting point, or transfer between buses, ferries and trains.
The Lower Albert Street Bus Interchange caters for North Shore buses on the western side, and Western buses on the eastern side. There are 6 bus stops on the western side (northbound) and 5 bus stops on the eastern side (southbound).
This upgrade was delivered in partnership with Auckland Council’s streetscape programme.
Dates
Construction began in December 2019 and was completed in December 2020.
